251 candidats coming from 41 nations applied, 108 pianists were admitted after a preselection by recordings.
251 Kandidaten aus 41 Ländern waren angemeldet, 108 Pianisten wurden nach einer Vorauswahl anhand von Aufnahmen zugelassen.

We are a member of the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY) and the Alink-Argerich-Foundation and rank as one of the most important contests of this type worldwide.

Wir sind Mitglied in der Europäischen Union der Musikwettbewerbe für die Jugend (EMCY) sowie der Alink-Argerich-Foundation und gehören zu den weltweit größten Veranstaltungen dieser Art.
